Our History

The Hellenic Medical Society has its origins in the Greek-American Medical Fraternity, an organization co-founded by the renowned physician George N. Papanicolaou during the First World War. The organization officially registered with the New York State authorities in 1920. Drs. George N. Papanicolaou, Constantinos Carousos and Constantinos Logothetis served consecutively as presidents of this fraternity.

Organization Testimonials

“We hold our Education Fairs once a quarter so that our 1200 employees at our DFW location can have access to information and representatives from area colleges and universities as well as information regarding UPS’s Earn and Learn Benefit. The NTCC has been instrumental in organizing, coordinating, and marketing these fairs to its member schools thus ensuring maximum participation and maximum benefit.” – John Paschall

“Here at Delta Air Lines, we sponsor annual Education Fairs to expose our employees to the outstanding benefits of higher education, whether it be for career advancement or personal fulfillment. Delta has always been a corporation that promotes from within and is currently the only major airline that provides tuition reimbursement to its employees! We are proud to work for a company that genuinely cares about its employees and wants to see them excel in their careers. A higher education degree can sometimes make or break whether you get that next position or that next job. Thank you Delta Air Lines for caring and allowing the local consortium of colleges to visit us each year. having the information at out fingertips provides the opportunity for all employees to make wise choices for their varied interests of learning and degree plans.” – David Janeski

“The annual DART Education Fair provides a great opportunity for all of its employees to find out more about DART’s Tuition Reimbursement program, how to obtain their degrees and to access local universities – all in one place!” – Diana Kocks

“I would like to personally thank the NTCC for their participation in 7-Eleven’s Education Fair. This event was informative and well-received by all who attended.” – Shelby Gooden
