The HMS awards scholarships at all levels of education, from High School to Physicians-in-Training. There are Merit-Based, Need-Based and Research-Based awards.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CRITERIA

To apply for Merit-Based Scholarships, applicants must:

Be Seniors in High School with a cumulative GPA of 95 and above.
Have demonstrated clear interest in pursuing a career in medicine, as evident in their personal statements and volunteer activities or research in the medical field.
Be HMS members at the time of application submission.
Be of Hellenic descent with demonstrated involvement in the Greek community.
Be residents of NY, NJ, CT, and matriculated in an academic institution in the United States.

To apply for Need-Based Scholarships, applicants must:

Meet the above criteria, a cumulative GPA of 85 or higher and have a gross annual household/family income of less than $75,000.
