The HMS awards scholarships at all levels of education, from High School to Physicians-in-Training. There are Merit-Based, Need-Based and Research-Based awards.

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CRITERIA

To apply for Merit-Based Scholarships, applicants must:

Be Juniors or Seniors in college with a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA.
Pursue a career path in the medical field, such as pre-med, nursing, PA/NP.
Have demonstrated a clear interest in pursuing a career in medicine as evident in their personal statements and volunteer activities or research in the medical field.
Be HMS members at the time of application submission.
Be of Hellenic descent with demonstrated involvement in the Greek community.
Be residents of NY, NJ, CT, and matriculated in an academic institution in the United States.

To apply for Need-Based Scholarships, applicants must:

Meet the above criteria, a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA and have a gross annual household/family income of less than $75,000.
